# Two years of practical experience in the respective trade after having obtained the Industrial Training Institute Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the BIS official recruitment portal https://www.bis.gov.in/ from 19th April 2022 to 9th MAy 2022 till midnight.
1. Candidates to go to the BIS website www.bis.gov.in click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
2. To register the application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
Application Fee
- For the post of Assistant Director (Hindi), Assistant Director (Administration & Finance), and Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs), the application fees will be Rs 800/- and for the remaining posts, the fee will be Rs.500/-
- No fee to be paid by SCs/STs/PWDs/ Women and BIS serving employees
- No fee to be paid for recruitment to the post of Director (Legal) on a deputation basis.
