CTET December 2021 Notification, Exam from 16th Dec 2021

CTET December 2021:- Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi invites online applications from eligible candidates for appearing in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be conducted from 16th December 2021 to 13th January 2022.

The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages throughout the country.

CTET is applicable to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and NCT of Delhi.

Minimum Qualifications to appear in the CBSE CTET December 2021

For Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
# Who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher”.

For Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. The program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

How to apply for CTET December 2021 Exam

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Online by logging on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in only from 20.09.2021 to 19.10.2021 and the fee can be paid up to date 20.10.2021 till 03.30 PM.

Application Fee
  • For General/OBC Candidates:- Rs. 1000/- for One Paper and Rs. 1200/- for Both Paper.
  • For SC/ST/Differently abled Person Candidates:- Rs. 500/- for One Paper and Rs. 600/- for Both Paper.
Important Dates of CBSE CTET Exam 2021
  • Starting date of submission of online application: 20th September 2021
  • Last date of submission of online application: 19th October 2021
  • Last date to pay application fee: 20th October 2021, 15.30 hours
  • Issue of TET Admit Card: To be updated later
  • Date of TET Examination 2021: 16th December 2021 to 13th January 2022
