Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023: 276 Vacancy, Apply Online

Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023:- Indian Air Force has released an employment notification for the recruitment of the AFCAT (02/2023) the posts of Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches and NCC Special Entry Courses Commencing in July 2024. The last date for submission of the online application is 30.06.2023.

1. AFCAT Entry

  • Flying Branch: 11 posts
  • Ground Duty (Technical): 151 posts
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 114 posts

4. NCC Special Entry

  • Flying Branch: 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for PC and 10% seats out of AFCAT vacancies for SSC.
Age limit
  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
  • Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
  • Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training.

Educational Qualification for Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023

1. Flying Branch

Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
(a) Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

OR
(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

2. Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) [AE(L)]

Candidates with a minimum of 50% mark each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:-

Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Accounts Branch

Passed 10+2 and graduation in any of the following streams with 60 % marks or equivalent from a recognized university:-
1. B. Com Degree (Min three years course).
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialization in Finance)
3. Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA.
4. B.Sc. with specialization in Finance.

NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)

NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired on or after 01 Dec 17. Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2. Graduates with a minimum of three years of degree courses in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR BE/B Tech degree (Four years courses) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
