Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021: The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, invites online applications from eligible candidates (Both Male and Female) for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) in branch General Duty (GD), Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA) and Technical (Engineering & Electrical) for 02/2022 Batch. The last date for submission of the application is 17th Dec 2021.

1. Post Name:- General Duty (GD)

  • No of posts:- 30
  • Gender:- Male
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:-
    (i) Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree candidates wherever applicable).
    (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 60% aggregate in Mathematics and Physics. {Candidates not in possession of Physics and Maths in 10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent level are not eligible for General Duty (GD)}.

2. Post Name:- Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA)

  • No of posts:- 10
  • Gender:- Both Male & Female
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2003 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:- Candidates holding current /valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued/ validated by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Minimum educational qualification – XIIth pass (Physics and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.

3. Post Name:- Technical (Engineering & Electrical)

  • No of posts:- 10
  • Gender:- Male
  • Age limit:- Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Educational Qualification:-
    (i) Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate or Should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in any of the disciplines listed below:-
    Engineering Branch. Naval architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace.
    Electrical Branch. Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engg. Or Power Electronics.
    (ii) At least 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class or Three-year diploma course with an aggregate of 60%.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the Indian Coast Guard recruitment portal from 06th Dec to 17th Dec 2021 up to 17:30 hrs.

To fill up the “Online” application the candidates need to log on to the Website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.inand click on the “opportunities” button. Read the instruction carefully and proceed for filling up the application form as given below:-

  • Select the advertisement for Recruitmentof Assistant Commandant-02/2022 Batch.
  • Select any one post to be applied from any one of the following:-
    (aa) Asst Commandant General Duty.
    (ab) Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot License(CPL-SSA) -Male/Female
    (ac) Asst Commandant (Engineering & Electrical)
    (iii) Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and the ‘Online Application’ will be displayed.
    (iv) Proceed to fill the application (All-Star (*) marked entries are compulsory and to be filled).

On successful submission of the online application, a unique Application/Registration number will be provided to the candidate. Candidates must note down this application number for future reference and for retrieval/ reprint of the e-admit card. Applicants are to take a printout of the E-admit card through URL
