MAMA Recruitment 2022: The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of the following position on a contractual basis. The last date for submission of the application is 17th December 2022.

1. Field Assistant (BioResources)

• No of posts:- 6
• Place of posting:- Ri Bhoi, WKH, SWK, WJH, NGH & SGH
• Salary:- Rs. 17000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent. Candidates know GIS/ Remote Sensing is preferred. 0 – 2 Years of experience in a related field.
• Requirement:- The candidate shall be stationed within the project cluster/village

2. Technical Assistant (BioResources)

• No of posts:- 1
• Place of posting:- WGH
• Salary:- Rs. 30000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Master in Science or Equivalent (Life science/Environmental Studies/Agriculture/ Forestry).
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Research & Development work in Meghalaya. Candidate with excellent research skills and Research Publications in reputed national/ International journals
• Skills:
  1. Good written and verbal communications Skills
  2. Computer literacy with expertise in MS Office tools

3. Field Assistant (Green Energy)

• No of posts:- 1
• Place of posting:- Garo Hills
• Salary:- Rs. 17000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:- Bachelor in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Skills:
  1. Good written and verbal communications Skills
  2. Computer literacy with expertise in MS Office tools

4. Technical Specialist UAV Remote Sensing (TS UAV-RS)

• No of posts:- 1
• Place of posting:- Shillong
• Educational Qualification:- Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing/M.Sc./ B.E/ B.TechGraduate/ Postgraduate in Aeronautical.
• Required Experience:- Remotely Piloted Aircraft systems licensed Pilot approved by DGCA.

5. Training Specialist

• No of posts:- 2
• Place of posting:- Shillong & EKH
• Salary:- Rs. 46000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:- Graduate or Post Graduate in Social Work, Management, Marketing, Psychology, English, Human Resources Development, Social Science, or related disciplines.
• Desired Experience:-
  1. Minimum of 07 years of work experience in management and operations
  2. Experience working with Government agencies and multilateral/bilateral projects
  3. Fluency in the local language

6. Block Project Manager

• No of posts:- 3
• Place of posting:- Thadlaskein Block, Ampati Block DPMU, SGH
• Salary:- Rs. 30000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline with excellent skills in project management.
  2. Preference will be given to a graduate/postgraduate in Forestry/ Rural Development or any other project management-related disciplines.
  3. Minimum 05 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in the implementation of rural development project management/rural livelihood implementation/ social entrepreneurship/ value chain/ agribusiness development/ natural resource management
  4. At least a minimum of 03 years of exclusive experience in project management or the relevant domain is a must.

7. Field Engineers

• Place of posting:- Mawryngkneng, Mawkynrew, Mairang, Mawkyrwat, Umling, Umsning,Thadlaskein, Saipung, Resubelpara, Kharkutta, Songsak, Samanda, Dambo, Rongjeng, Baghmara, Gasuapara, Rongara, Tikrikilla, Dalu, Gambegre, Rongram, Zikzak, Betasing, Chokpot, Laskein, Selsella
• Salary:- Rs. 20000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:- Graduate with B.E/ Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Desirable working experience:- Minimum 02 years of experience in a related field

8. Field Coordinators

• No of posts:- 8
• Place of posting:- WJH, WGH, SGH, Shillong
• Salary:- Rs. 17000/- Per month
• Educational Qualification:- Graduate in Forestry/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/BSW or allied sciences.
• Desirable working experience:- 2 years in Forestry/Natural Resource management-related projects/ Rural Development Projects/ Externally aided projects/ Community Organizations. Preferably experienced in GIS.

Age limit:- Upto 45 years.

Essential Skills for all the positions: Good written and verbal communication. Expert in basic computer knowledge like Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Power Point Presentations, etc are the common essential skills requirement. Other skills required are mentioned above for each position.
