NERIE Shillong Recruitment 2022: North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) Umiam invites eligible candidates to attend the walk-in-interview to be held on 21st and 22nd June 2022 for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Computer Assistant on a contractual basis.
1. Post Name:- Junior Proiect Fellow (JRF)
- Age limit:- 40 years (5 years relaxation in the case of SC/ST & Woman Candidates and 8 years relaxation in the case of PH category).
- Salary:- Rs. 25,000/- per month (NET Qualified) and Rs. 23,000/- per month (Non-NET).
A. Project Title:- Implementing intervention at Elementary School Stage: A Block Level Research
- No of posts:- 1
- Educational Qualification:- Post Graduate in any Discipline.
- Desirable Qualification:- B.Ed/M.Ed and also basic computer skills such as MS office, DTP/ HTML/ Typing/ Adobe Photoshop etc.
B. Project Title:- Development of an App for Enhancing Communication in Inclusive Classroom.
- No of posts:- 1
- Educational Qualification:- MA/ M.Phil/ Ph.D in Linguistics.
C. Project Title:- Research Cum-Documentation of Sign Language for Teaching of English, Maths, and Social Science in the North East Region
- No of posts:- 1
- Educational Qualification:- MA/ M.Phil/ Ph.D in Linguistics.
D. Project Title:- Capacity Building for Textbook Writers of recognized Tribal Languages of Manipur
- No of posts:- 1
- Educational Qualification:- MA/ M.Phil/ Ph.D in Education/ English/ Linguistics/ Anthropology/ Sociology.
2. Post Name:- Computer Assistant
- Age limit:- 40 years (5 years relaxation in the case of SC/ST & Woman Candidates and 8 years relaxation in the case of PH category).
- Salary:- Rs. 17,604/- per month.
A. Project Title:- Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling
- No of posts:- 1
- Educational Qualification:- Graduate in any Discipline
- Desirable Qualification:- Basic computer skills such as MS office, DTP/ HTML/ Typing/ Adobe Photoshop etc.
B. Project Title:- Research Cum- Documentation on Sign Language for Teaching of English, Maths, and Social Science in the North East Region.

The walk-in-interview for the posts of JPFs will be held on 21st June 2022 from 10:30 AM onwards and Computer Assistant will be held on 22nd June 2022 from l0:30 AM onwards.
