1. Post Name:- Assistant Manager (Power Systems)
- No of posts:- 15 [UR:8, OBC:2, SC:2, ST:2, EWS:1, PwD:1]
- Salary:- Pay level of E3 in the pay scale of Rs. 60000- 180000/-.
- Educational Qualification:- Full Time M.Tech/ MS/ ME / M.Sc (Engg.)/IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in the required discipline from recognized University/ Institute with Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA in B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree).
2. Post Name:- Executive Trainee (Electrical)
- No of posts:- 25 [UR:10, OBC:4, SC:4, ST:4, EWS:3, PwD:1]
- Salary:- Pay level of E3 in the pay scale of Rs. 60000- 180000/-
- Educational Qualification:- Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in the required discipline from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA in B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree).
Upper age limit
- 28 years as on 31.07.2022 (Candidates should have been born on or after 01.08.1994). The upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates.

The application window for POSOCO shall be opened after the declaration of GATE-2022 results by the Organising Institute. A separate notification for the same shall be issued on the POSOCO website after the declaration of GATE-2022 results. Candidates have to register online at the POSOCO website with details of their GATE-2022 Application Number, GATE-2022 Registration Number, GATE-2022 Score, and other required information, which will be available at the CAREERS section of www.posoco.in
The Online Application Portal shall open at 00:00 hours on 24th May 2022 and close at 23:45 hours on 23rd June 2022.
Selection Procedure
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE2022, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will have to appear in the corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE).
Application Fee
- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
- Candidates are required to log in to their candidate login section and then deposit non-refundable application fees of Rs. 500/- through online mode only. ONLY on submitting application fees, the application process will be treated as complete.
