Shillong Cantonment Recruitment 2022: LDA, Driver, Safaiwala and Chowkidar Vacancy

Shillong Cantonment Recruitment 2022: Shillong Cantonment Board Office has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Lower Division Assistant, Driver, Safaiwala, and Chowkidar Positions. The last date for submission of the application is 15 January 2023.

The required qualification is a 10+2 Pass, 8th Pass, and Primary School Pass.

1. Lower Division Assistant

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1]
• Age limit:- 21 to 30 years (As per Cantonment Board Employee Service Rules 2021).
• Salary:- Level-5 (in the Pay Matrix of Revised Pay Structure) plus allowances as admissible.
• Educational Qualification:- Essential qualification: HSLC/SSSLC or equivalent.
• Desirable:- Knowledge of computers and typing in English

2. Driver

• No of posts:- 1 [ST:1]
• Age limit:- 21 to 30 years. (As per Cantonment Board Employee Service Rules 2021) Relaxable by 05 years for the ST category as per Govt Rules.
• Salary:- Level-3 (in the Pay Matrix of Revised Pay Structure) plus allowances as admissible.
• Educational Qualification:- Class-VIII pass with valid HMV driving license

3. Safaiwala

• No of posts:- [UR:3, ST:3]
• Age limit:- 21 to 30 years. (As per Cantonment Board Employee Service Rules 2021). Relaxable by 05 years for the ST category as per Govt Rules
• Salary:- Level-1 (in the Pay Matrix of Revised Pay Structure) plus allowances as admissible
• Educational Qualification:- Primary School passed

4. Chowkidar

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1]
• Age limit:- 21 to 30 years. (As per Cantonment Board Employee Service Rules 2021).
• Salary:- Level-1 (in the Pay Matrix of Revised Pay Structure) plus allowances as admissible.
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation; HSLC etc.

Candidates must mention “Application for the post of……..” on the top of the envelope while sending the application form. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications for each position.

The last date of receipt of application from Meghalaya and other North Eastern states is 15.1.2021. For applications in other remote areas as notified by the Govt of India, the last date of receipt of the application will be 30.1.2023.
