ST Scholarship Meghalaya 2021: Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Meghalaya invites applications for Fresh and Renewal applications for Umbrella Scheme of scholarships of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GOI (for Scheduled Tribe students) from students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya studying within and outside the State for the year 2021-22. The last date for submission of the application is 6th December 2021.
1. Scholarship Name:- Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students
Eligibility Criteria:-
# Student must be a resident of Meghalaya.
# He/She must study in class IX / X in recognized schools/Institutes.
# His/her parent’s annual income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.00 Lakhs per annum.
2. Scholarship Name:- Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students
Eligibility Criteria:-
# Student must be a resident of Meghalaya.
# He/She must study in different courses from Class XI to Post Graduation in recognized College/Institutes.
# His/her parents’ annual income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.50 Lakhs per annum.
How to apply for ST Scholarship Meghalaya 2021: Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarship
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0) at https://scholarships.gov.in. The last date is 6th December 2021.
Students are to upload all the necessary documents.
The following schedule of applications will be followed
- Opening Date of Application for Registration by Students (For Fresh and Renewal): 17th September 2021.
- Closing date of Application Registration by Students (For Fresh and Renewal): 6th December 2021.
- Last date for Verification of Applications by Institutes: 24th January 2022.
