NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2023: North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Shillong has released an employment notification for the Special Recruitment Drive For Persons With Disability (PWD) for Group B & C Posts. The last date for submission of the application is 23rd January 2023.

1. Nursing Officer

• No of posts:- 2 [UR:2] (1-Reserved for Hearing Handicapped, HH & 1- Physically Handicapped – OL)
• Upper age limit:- 35 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-7 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 44,900/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
  2. Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications for male nurses.
  3. Should be registered as an ‘A’ grade Nurse & Midwifery with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification for male nurses.

2. Medical Social Worker

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1] (Reserved for Visually Handicapped) (B.LV)
• Upper age limit:- 35 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 35,400/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Master’s degree in Social Work/Applied Sociology from a recognized University
  2. One year of practical experience as a Social Worker with a Government Organization in a health-related field or reputed Welfare or Health Agencies recognized by the Government dealing with Medical/ Public Health Services.

3. Health Educator

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1] (Reserved for Visually Handicapped) (B.LV)
• Upper age limit:- 35 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 35,400/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Degree from a recognized University
  2. Diploma in Health Education from a recognized Institution.
  3. Experience of not less than 5 years in Health Education preferably in rural areas.

4. Warden/Lady Warden

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1] (Reserved for Physically Handicapped) (OA.OL.BL)
• Upper age limit:- 35 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-6 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 35,400/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  2. Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management/Housekeeping/ material Management/ Public Relations/ Estate Management.
  3. Four years experience as Assistant Warden or six years experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar capacity in a Hostel of a reputed Institution/Nursing College.

5. Technical Assistant

• No of posts:- 1 [SC:1] (Reserved for Hearing Handicapped for Deptt. of Orthopedics (HH))
• Upper age limit:- 30 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-5 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 29,200/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. B.Sc from a recognized University with two years of working experience in the Orthopedics unit of a Hospital with experience in handling C-Arm for Orthopedics Surgery and
  Plaster Application.
  OR
  2. 12th with Science from a recognized Board/University with a Diploma in O.T. Technology and two years of working experience in the Orthopedics unit of a Hospital with experience in handling C-Arm for Orthopedics Surgery and Plaster Applications.

6. HouseKeeper

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1] (Reserved for Physically Handicapped (OL))
• Upper age limit:- 30 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-5 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 29,200/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
  2. Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management/House Keeping/ Material Management/ Public Relations/ Estate Management.
  3. Four years experience in House Keeping or in a similar capacity in a Hostel of a reputed Institution/ Nursing College.

7. Post Name:- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• No of posts:- 1 [UR:1] (Reserved for Hearing Handicapped (HH))
• Upper age limit:- 25 as of the closing date of application.
• Salary:- Pay Level-1 in the Pay Matrix, Entry Pay Rs. 18,000/-
• Educational Qualification:-
  Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized University/Board.
  OR
  Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass
